I just recently finished this painting. I've been working on it for awhile. It all started with a torn piece of French newspaper that I found in my stash. The words Chez Soi caught my eye. I looked up the translation and it means "go home".
I decided to create this painting/collage with that theme in mind. I picture this woman taking a break from her long journey; walking with her guitar. She stops to reflect and day dream about her desire to want to reach home.

This is a beautiful piece of art - It blends together so nicely and I love the "Go Home"- thanks for explaining or I would have forever been wondering what it meant LOL. I love french words - doesn't really even matter to me what they mean!! LOL, they just sound so....... suave, sexy, sophisticated and nice teehee.
