with my new sump pump!!!!! I normally don't post anything that isn't art related but if I stretch this far enough, I could alter this someday-lol!
This is a picture of our new sump pump in our basement! We recently had our basement waterproofed with a wonderful system including this handsome pump!!!! It even comes with a life-time guarantee!
I can't tell you the relief, we feel, in knowing that our basement will no longer be flooded and we won't have to suck up water every Spring or even in the winter depending on the conditions.
This winter was brutal and we paid a high price this Spring. Enough is enough!!!!! We're getting too old for this kind of thing.
This was money well spent and we've already seen water coming out of the drain in the back yard - celebrate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So; I just had share, with you, this "handsome" new addition to our family; he's quite a "suck up" but I'll get used to it!
Have a good weekend everyone; be safe and enjoy the moments!
Thank you for hangin' in with me always!
Much love - Marilyn xxoo

ah those wonderful inventions that give us so much security!! I completely understand, when I hear mine going on, I feel so good!! xx
LOL so loud. I remember many a flooded basement and soggy books an dphotos that could never be relpaced. Also remember Dad kicking ours when it stuck and getting stitches in his foot. Sump pumps are things to both love and hate in my world. You made my day with this post Marilyn. xox Corrine
I hope you and your sump pump will have many happy years together :0) I've never seen one before .... looks errrm...interesting :0)
I can relate. We don't have a basement but a crawl space that gets water. Your SP is a beautiful thing.LOL
ROFL. whatever makes you happy Marilyn. seriously, I can understand why you're so pleased. as Jo says, may you have many happy years together lol
You know M...
I believe that life is art...
got a good giggle out of you considering altering your new sump pump...
maybe it at least needs a name...
a royal name something fitting for a prince or a king ;)
Fun post!
Happy dry weekend to you and yours!

I wish mine looked that neat and clean and pretty. What a relief you must feel. And, yes, you could alter it to make art, but I hope you don't.
Oh Marilyn I completely understand your euforia with your new sump pump. Spending your time and energy is so much better done on your art and not on the basement. Happy DRY weekend...
M, This handsome pump needs a good solid name.....
Glad you shared this. I am starting to believe it is something I need. Like you, I think I'm getting too old for my basement problems. Thanks for this fun post.
Such creative talent and energy you have.
