Sophia sells seashells by the seashore.....:)

Sophia got to the beach, this summer, and absolutely loved it! She loved playing in the sand!

I worked on this 5 x 7 watercolor, while she was gone, as I was missing her and it helped me with thoughts of her. The photo, of her, here, is one that I took awhile ago and I decided to insert it in the picture with Photo Shop.

This weekend I am going frame shopping to put this in and present it to Sophia's parents as a memory keeper.

The watercolor was based on a photo I took a few years, back, in Rockport, MA (one of my favorite areas).

I hope you all are having a good week; we are coming upon another weekend soon. Our downpour rains have stopped and we are now enjoying beautiful weather! I hope you are, too!

Peace in your hearts and minds....................Love, Marilyn

My Gma used to make me the most beautiful dresses to show her love, but I eventually outgrew every one, leaving only memories. Your granddaughter will have this gorgeous keepsake without ever outgrowing it. How precious.

What a lovely way to bring your loved ones into your art. So beautiful!
We do the same and don't listen to much of the news. We get dribs and brabs of it. Don't concentrate hearing it everyday. Too much doom and gloom. I feel that the news readers should find more goodness in the world also to give people hope instead of bringing our spirits so low. There are goodness in the world to share. We ought to call news new name 'doom and gloom'
Huge hug!

And yes, I do love that 7 Gypsies paper. Isn't it great? Too bad I covered it all up!

Simply ADORABLE. What a keepsake that I know will be passed down from parents to daughter. Sophia is one lucky ( and gorgeous) little angel.
