Marilyn J. Rock ...Deli Paper Technique II

This is Part II of my Deli Paper technique. I had to split up the original video as I didn't realize that Utube requires only 10 minutes of video time. This is all a learning experience. :) I'll get there yet! Hope you enjoy!

So much to comment on here, Marilyn! What a great 'first'! Nicely done and everything was explained very well too. I love that you use the hardware store to shop - it's my auxiliary art store. Great stuff and the price is always right.

Also love that you're putting yourself out there and challenging yourself with the videos! You go, Girl!!! Bravo! Hugs, Terri xoxo

I forgot to mention that I love the sponge idea. Never knew about those big sponges before, and now I know about them and where to get them.

I am impressed by the wrap you made using the deli paper and your sewing machine. I was especially happy to see you included a few pages using plain old acrylics.

I have deli paper, but have never seen it with printing before. I was impressed how well you managed to cover the logo.

This is a great first video lesson and I am truly delighted for you. Looks like you had a good helper, too. Not a single blurry shot in the entire two videos.

Marilyn...great FIRST video! And an excellent technique to add to the bag 'o tricks. I have a ton of deli paper left over from doing photo transfers (gel medium, no paint at all) and this will be a great way to use them. Really love the envie idea, and they will make great specialty papers to sew into a Mary Ann Moss style journal! Thanks!

A great tutorial, Marilyn -- you did a fine job on your very first video. Your gave very clear instructions and I can't wait to follow along with this video and try out this technique...need to go to Home Depot first, however.

Good Wishes

Congrats to you, Marilyn. Your first video tutorial is awesome. You did a fabulous job! I think I can't buy deli paper in Germany, but I want to try it out with a similar paper.
Wishing you and yours a very Happy Healthy New Year and may all of your dreams come true for 2010!

What a fun technique. Who wouldn't want to do this, we all like a little messy. Appreciate all you suggestions and especially reminding us of basic tools we have all around us including our own fingers. Thanks so much. LinLin
