This is Part II of my Deli Paper technique. I had to split up the original video as I didn't realize that Utube requires only 10 minutes of video time. This is all a learning experience. :) I'll get there yet! Hope you enjoy!
So much to comment on here, Marilyn! What a great 'first'! Nicely done and everything was explained very well too. I love that you use the hardware store to shop - it's my auxiliary art store. Great stuff and the price is always right.
Also love that you're putting yourself out there and challenging yourself with the videos! You go, Girl!!! Bravo! Hugs, Terri xoxo
M, you did a fabulous job with this first video! Your instructions were clear and the project is inspiring... such beautiful papers. I do wish we could get a peek of your lovely face though!! Can't wait to see what you come up with next ~ xox Deb
I forgot to mention that I love the sponge idea. Never knew about those big sponges before, and now I know about them and where to get them.
I am impressed by the wrap you made using the deli paper and your sewing machine. I was especially happy to see you included a few pages using plain old acrylics.
I have deli paper, but have never seen it with printing before. I was impressed how well you managed to cover the logo.
This is a great first video lesson and I am truly delighted for you. Looks like you had a good helper, too. Not a single blurry shot in the entire two videos.
Great start Marilyn! You are inspiring in all that you do! Thanks for putting yourself out there and teaching me something new! I was excited to see a sneak peak of your mitten for the swap. :o)
Hi Teacher Marilyn, llllllloved your video!!!!! This is awesome and I feel like I wanna try it! Wheeeeeeeee! Everything was clear and easy to follow......you just forgot to show your beautiful smile at the beginning or end! :)) Thanks Ted for the great filming!!!!!! Hugs,Patti
Marilyn...great FIRST video! And an excellent technique to add to the bag 'o tricks. I have a ton of deli paper left over from doing photo transfers (gel medium, no paint at all) and this will be a great way to use them. Really love the envie idea, and they will make great specialty papers to sew into a Mary Ann Moss style journal! Thanks!
Oh wow. this is so much fun. I can't wait to go back and watch the video again. You did a great job. I'm going to try the deli paper. I work in a deli so Ha Ha this will be easy to get. Please...more videos!!!
wow Marilyn!! loved the videos!! what a great technique, i bought some delipaper a while ago, but didn't have any idea what to do with it. now i can try this!! Thanks so much for the tutorial and hope to see more. hugs femmy

A great tutorial, Marilyn -- you did a fine job on your very first video. Your gave very clear instructions and I can't wait to follow along with this video and try out this technique...need to go to Home Depot first, however.
Congrats to you, Marilyn. Your first video tutorial is awesome. You did a fabulous job! I think I can't buy deli paper in Germany, but I want to try it out with a similar paper. Wishing you and yours a very Happy Healthy New Year and may all of your dreams come true for 2010! Gaby xo

What a fun technique. Who wouldn't want to do this, we all like a little messy. Appreciate all you suggestions and especially reminding us of basic tools we have all around us including our own fingers. Thanks so much. LinLin
Oh marilyn, your video was very nice! I will definitely have to try this! I have been wanting to make my own backgrounds & this is perfect. I even have a few contacts that work in the deli dept. at Giant Eagle....
I enjoyed your video so much. I have everything to create this, so thanks for the inspiration. Our fingers are our best tools! Thank you for doing this, can't wait till the next one comes.
This was great Marilyn. I look forward to more of your technique You Tube clips. Deli Paper is not available in Australia but will search for something similar to experiment on. Thanks
